Friends of Jahn presents our 5th Annual Rock the Night Away on March 27th from 7pm until 10pm. This exciting staff and parent party will feature plenty of food, drinks and music. Parents, staff and other community members are invited to join in the fun and help raise money to support the wonderful programs at Jahn. This is a great opportunity for prospective and incoming parents and members of the community to mix and mingle with current parents and teachers.

When and Where is the Event?

Join us at Rock the Night Away at Beat Kitchen, 2100 W Belmont Ave., on March 27th from 7:00 – 10:00 PM – Adults Only. Bring your Friends – and we encourage prospective parents, past parents and members of the neighborhood and community. 

How do I buy tickets?

You can access the ticket link here.  This is the only way to purchase tickets with a credit card.  Tickets will be available in the office with Margo on March 2nd.  Door tickets will be available, but they are priced at the $50 ticket level and are CASH only. 

We offer three varying ticket prices. FOJ wants make sure our events are accessible to everyone!  A donation – in any amount – is so appreciated and if that donation this year is your ticket, then we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  If you’re able to contribute more, we appreciate that as well---read about the Paddle Raise!

What is a Paddle Raise?

We like to keep it simple and fun – just raise your hand! During a portion of the evening, all guests will have an opportunity to contribute by “raising their paddles (hand)” to pledge their financial support. We start at $25 and go up. This year our Paddle Raise goal is $45,000 and all donations are tax-deductible.

The Paddle Raise usually only takes 30 minutes and then we’re back to having fun! Not into raising your hand in front of the entire party or can’t make it? – You are welcome to contribute anonymous donations prior to the event by contacting Kelly Vincent via email (insert email or hyper link on name), contribute via the website or hand delivered check in the Jahn main office with attention to Friends of Jahn/Kelly Vincent.

 What else happens at Rock the Night Away?

  • DJ Nick playing amazing music all night – lots of dancing and socializing.

  • All you can eat food and open bar beverages (included in your ticket price). No sit-down dinner and set schedule – just come have fun!

  • Evening long Wine Pull. You buy a cork for $20. Your cork has a number on it which matches a bottle of wine, cider or sparkling wine.  You could end up with “$2 Chuck” or a bottle of Dom Perignon.  You never know what you’re going to get!

  • Event check out happens at 9:30 PM! We do accept credit cards but your donation goes further with cash and checks. 

The success of FOJ events demonstrate– time and time again – that we live in a child-centered community full of incredible families willing to give so much of themselves for our students. We hope to see you at this year’s Rock the Night Away.
